Buffalo City Metro councillor Kayise Tom, who was shot and wounded in a suspected political-related attack in January, has died. Tom was shot at the gate of her NU9 home in Mdantsane. The ANC's Dr WB Rubusana deputy regional chair fought for her life in hospital after the shooting incident. Party insiders confirmed that Tom has died on Saturday morning.
