Ten thousand Woundfin fish, an endangered species that only exists locally, were dumped into the Virgin River this week  half at Confluence Park and half at a private location in Hurricane  with the hopes that they will reproduce and boost the species out of the extinction danger zone. That hope has been fueling two years of work raising these fish to maturity at a hatchery in New Mexico, ....
