Lingle Middle School students share outdoor stories | The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

It's my privilege to yield this outdoor column space to the fine young writers at Lingle Middle School in Rogers who wrote about their outdoor adventures during Nature Days outdoor school held May 10 and 13 at Prairie Creek park on Beaver Lake. Lingle holds Nature Days each spring. Sixth-graders choose from a variety of nature-themed classes to take during the two days. It's been my honor to teach the outdoor writer class every year since Nature Days started in 1998. Here are some of the students' stories from this year.
