Russia and China have completed naval drills in the East China Sea, after a week of joint exercises which included practising how to capture an enemy submarine with depth charges and firing artillery at a warship, Russia's defence ministry said.
Moscow, Dec 19 (Prensa Latina) A detachment of the Russian Pacific Fleet set sail from Vladivostok to participate in the Russian-Chinese naval exercises, scheduled to take place from December 21st to the 27th, in the East China Sea, the Ministry of Defense announced.
India–Russia cooperation in the Indian Ocean and the Arctic, including the Russian Far East, could give strong thrust to their deepening engagement. However, there is a need for heavy lifting from both sides to achieve the desired potential.
China appears to be showing off its military strength to Japan, while Russia is sending a similar message to the US, a Japanese official said.
