Nazareth Area Middle School to close for a week due to COVID cases

Nazareth Area Middle School on Tuesday announced it will close for a week because of COVID-19 cases.
Robert Bauder, the school’s principal, explained the closure in a letter to the school community that was posted on the Nazareth Area School District website.
It went into effect Tuesday and will continue through next Monday, March 22. The plan is to reopen to students and staff the following day.
“During the targeted closure, the building will be closed to all students and staff for cleaning and contact tracing, and all instruction will be provided remotely,” the principal said in the letter. ....
