Motorists predict chaos and rat-runs when White Hart roundabout shuts for 3 months
MORE roadworks woe is on the way for Swindon motorists. It was announced on Monday that the White Hart roundabout – one of the town's busiest junctions – will be shutting completely for three months between August and November. The unscheduled work to keep the road stable will add £2.6m to the cost of Swindon Borough Council's £30m project. It comes on top of a number of other incomplete or overrunning road schemes on key routes around the town, including Mead Way, the Moonrakers junction and Oxford Road.
