56 shares The first is The Ballad of Renegade Nell, a period caper which focuses on highway robber Nell Jackson, who discovers her poor luck is for a reason that goes right up to the authority of Queen Anne herself. Consisting of eight episodes, the series is being penned by Sally, who is best known for her work on the BBC drama Happy Valley, and Gentleman Jack, which is in the midst of filming its second series.
