The project engineer gave an update to the Buffalo City Council during their recent meeting, discussing this year’s major construction projects. Brent Bennett, with Nelson Engineering, said the city’s Fetterman and Burritt reconstruction project has the roads open to traffic and the engineer, contractor, and the city will be working together to compile a “punch list” of items still needing to be done, and cleaning up the project area. Buffalo’s City Council voted to release 50% of the remaining retainage funds to Barnum Construction which were held by the city concerning the Buffalo Business Park project. City Works Director Les Hook explained to the council what Barnum was requesting from the city and why. Brent Bennett, with Nelson Engineering, explained further.
