Mattocks Nelson, 49, was in a park behind the St. Mary’s Park Houses in Longwood when two suspects on a scooter zipped by and sprayed the sidewalk with bullets, police said Monday.
Nelson Mattocks was shot in the face behind the Saint Mary's Park NYCHA development, where he worked, on Aug. 19.

He was arrested after he was identified as one of two suspects on a scooter who drove past the St. Marys Park Houses in Longwood and sprayed the sidewalk with bullets, police said.
