Electric scooters have returned to Calgary sidewalks, pathways and bike lanes

  CALGARY -- Thousands of Calgarians will get their first chance this year to zip around the city Friday morning as electric scooters are back for a new season.  Following a successful 16-month pilot program, city council voted unanimously to continue the program on a longer-term basis.  Contracts were awarded to e-transport companies, Bird Canada and Neuron Mobility, both of which will be allowed to operate 750 scooters each as of May 28.  Ward 8 Coun.
