Volunteers welcome for three-day cleanup in New Bern underserved area
This a good weekend to visit two of New Bern's oldest predominately black neighborhoods to help in a community cleanup and to attend a public Community Resource Fair. Cleanup volunteers are welcome April 29 through May 1, any amount of time from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. PPE provided and Covid precautions will be in place. Call 349-8274. The city of New Bern Public Works will assist in supplies and trash haul-away.
