Political yard signs are used to help underprivileged children discover science and Technology Interests - CBS Los Angeles

News Highlights: Political yard signs are used to help underprivileged children discover science and Technology Interests – CBS Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – With the 2020 election season substantially over, a nonprofit that provides foster and at-risk children guidance and training in science and technology would love to have your political garden boards.
While most of us view political wharf boards as a means of showing support for an election candidate or political position, the folks at Made New Makerspace in Omaha, Nebraska, view them as plastic and metal.
“I know from projects I’ve personally done how versatile corrugated board can be, so I emailed Jim,” Eric Kaplan, president of Made New Makerspace, told WOWT.
