His remarks came on a day when the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) said it would summon the Karnataka Chief Secretary over the “blanket reservation” given to the Muslim community in the state.
The decision comes two weeks after the high court came down heavily on the state for failing to consider Rotawan s request for house allotment with sensitivity and basic human rights.
"You are not getting hundreds of such claims of children. This is one such case which may require consideration," the Court said while urging the State to consider the request by the terror attack victim, Devika Rotawan.
The PIL sought implementation of the 103rd Constitutional amendment providing for 10% reservation for those belonging to the economically weaker section (EWS) category.
