Blade Runner 2099 TV series no longer being shot in Ireland's Belfast
The original plan was for the series to be shot in Belfast, but Northern Ireland Screen's Chief Executive, Richard Williams, expressed his disappointment over this change in location. He stated that this decision leaves "a gap in Northern Ireland's production schedule" as many local crews and companies had been counting on the project for employment opportunities.
