The value of Dublin offices continued to fall in the fourth quarter of 2023, with those in Dublin 4 suffering the sharpest drops. This contrasts with the performance of industrial and logistics property, colloquially known as sheds, which achieved a slight recovery in values of 0.2pc in the quarter.
Investors and commercial property agents are expecting that the recent fall in property values will bottom out in 2024 and thus present buying opportunities and generate activity. However, agents are reluctant to say how much further values may fall.
