Go or else- another judge told
Justice Minister Patrick Chinamasa forced another judge Nicholas McNally to retire saying there would be an ugly confrontation if he declined. McNally told United States embassy officials that though he felt terrible about deserting Zimbabweans who relied on the judiciary to be an effective check on the executive, he felt that he had no choice.
