The Mail readers react to area being named as a dogging hotspot
The Mail. Councillor Bill McEwan said he did not want the practice to be happening after an area in his ward was named by an adult website as a popular spot. Dogging – sexual activity in public or watching others engage in the activity in public – is not illegal under a specific law in the UK, but people who get caught can be charged with public lewdness and indecent exposure. Reader James McGarth said: “It really is a badge of honour isn’t it, having this going on in our area. What happened to standards, self-respect and just behaving like a decent human being?”
