After college, she moved to Boston for a job. After the workday, she gravitated to the stage at local theaters and in comedy clubs. “The first time I did standup in Boston, it was magical. I was on point and connected with the audience. You keep chasing that high,” said Hazra. That chase led her to New York City, where she met her husband, and then Los Angeles.
