Finsbury Growth & Income suffered a second consecutive year of underperformance after suffering another disappointing fall in its NAV.
Lindsell Train Investment Trust chair Julian Cazalet said the trust's exposure to Lindsell Train Limited (LTL) had the biggest bearing on performance in the six months to the end of September.
Lindsell Train investment trust has reported its net asset value fell 3% in the six months to the end of September.
Among UK companies with reports and updates are Vodafone, Imperial Brands, Land Securities Group, BAE Systems, Workspace Group and James Cropper.
Fund manager Nick Train said he was pleased with the performance of several of the investment trust's holdings over October. NAV per share total return inched 0.4% higher but it is down 10.7% this year.
