A POP-UP seafront venue with street food, performances and bars is opening for the summer. The Warren at Victoria Gardens, Brighton, has been welcoming guests for drinks, food and Brighton Fringe shows since May. But when the sun sets on the city-wide arts festival on July 11, the venue will be moving to Brighton Beach. The Warren on The Beach will be found just east of Brighton Palace Pier, next to the Volks Railway Aquarium Station. It will run from July 23 to August 30. The venue will offer another six weeks of theatre, cabaret, comedy and family shows, alongside an outdoor stage, street food and bars.
A new underground arts venue on Brighton seafront opened for the first time on Friday. Electric Arcade features two studio theatres and a cabaret stage, with owners hoping to put on a range of shows when lockdown rules are loosened further next month. However, for its initial opening, the venue s bar provided cocktails and more to punters sitting on its beachfront terrace in Madeira Drive, to the east of Brighton Palace Pier. New underground arts venue and bar Electric Parade on Brighton seafront Electric Arcade is run by Otherplace, the team behind The Warren which visits the city during Brighton Fringe. When coronavirus restrictions have been eased further to allow live performances, the team has big plans to host live theatre, comedy, music and film to satisfy Brighton s discerning audiences .
