Ground has broken on the $18 million McFarland Clinic being built near East Merle Hibbs Boulevard on the south side of town. The health care provider plans to begin construction no later than May 1. McFarland will break ground in April for a brand new, $18 million facility off of East Merle Hibbs Boulevard on the south side of town, east of Walmart. Deb Wollam, the executive director of McFarland Clinic in Marshalltown, said the clinic purchased nine acres of land for the 66,000-square-foot building, designed by RMH Architects of Ames. “Construction will begin no later than May 1,” she said. “It is three levels, three stories.” ....
