Central NY parents charged after baby boy died co-sleeping with dad, police say Updated Jan 27, 2021; Vernon, N.Y. — The parents of a baby who died last fall while co-sleeping with his dad have been arrested for placing the child in danger earlier that day, police said. Nicolas M. Evans, 23, and Alexia S. Davis, 20, both of Vernon, were arrested Wednesday and charged with endangering the welfare of their infant son, the New York State Police said in a news release.
