The Federal Government (FG), on Wednesday, said it committed a total of $317million World Bank’s grant to the implementation of the Nigeria State Health Investment Project/Additional Funding (NSHIP/AF).
It said the grant was aimed at revitalising Primary Health Cares across 113LGAs in eight states of Nigeria.
The Executive Director, National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr Faisal Shuaib, made the disclosure at the NSHIP/AF Project Closure Workshop in Abuja themed “Healthier Result for All.”
According to him, the agency had in an effort to improve access to quality health care for Nigerians, commenced the pre-pilot output-based financing in 2011 under the Nigeria State Health Investment Project (NSHIP). ....
