New orleans is on the weak side of the storm. they didn't get a lot of rain from this system, didn't get a lot of strong winds. right now winds are at 24 miles per hour. new orleans area south to louisiana coast is doing just fine. there is some high water from the mississippi river where it comes out here north wards up in eastern louisiana, some of that water piling up on the back side of the storm. notice we're only at 37 wind gusts in mobile. there's that gust in biloxi. this is the highest we've seen now, 56. once you start getting above 50, that's when you can start some tree limbs comin...
