Mia Leimberg, 17, was finally released on Tuesday night along with her mother and was filmed clutching her dog Bella close to her chest as she was handed back to Israel by Hamas fighters.
All together, during the cease-fire, 105 hostages were released from Hamas captivity.
Mia Leimberg held her Shih Tzu Bella to her chest as she was ushered into the back of a pick-up truck, with gunmen believing the animal was just a cuddly toy.
A total of 79 Israeli hostages have been released so far by Hamas over seven consecutive days.
