US paying a high price for climate change-induced weather disasters
CHUYN/iStock(NEW YORK) -- Weather globally and across the U.S. has grown increasingly violent, with Americans seeing a steady increase in tornado events since 1950. More than 900 tornadoes have been confirmed since Jan.1, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
