The Florida Legislature and the governor approved awarding a family more than $1 million for a fatal crash that involved an Okeechobee County Sheriff’s deputy.
Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office and Okeechobee City Police responded to the scene to help the campus' school resource officer.
Agents were able to search the home and locate approximately 18.0 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
