“Within APAC, India net sales declined reflecting the normalization of 5G investments in the region after significant deployments in the year-ago quarter. Elsewhere in APAC, (the) rest of APAC and Greater China also declined,” Nokia said in its earnings report.
The Chennai factory is one of Nokia’s largest globally. The factory manufactures 5G New Radio (5G NR), 5G massive MIMO products, 4G/LTE radios as well as fiber broadband equipment, amongst others, according to Nokia.
