SNL, 2 other TV5 shows to bid goodbye
Published January 16, 2021, 11:38 PM The cast of ‘Sunday Noontime Live’ (Image by Popoy Guillermo) After three months, Sunday Noontime Live (SNL), the Sunday variety show of TV5, will air its final episode on Sunday, Jan. 17. This was announced by Albee Benitez, CEO, BrightLight Productions, in a statement issued on Jan. 16. The Sunday variety show stars Catriona Gray, Maja Salvador, Piolo Pascual, Jake Ejercito, Ricci Rivero, among others. Two other shows – “I Got You” and “Sunday Kada” – will also wrap up its season soon.

The beauty queen-host shared a “shoefie” as she held a microphone during rehearsals for the show. Her caption: “Rehearsals ������ I’m back #TeamLive!!! �� @sundaynoontimelive Tune in this Sunday, 12nn on @tv5manila ��” Gray, 26, missed over a month’s worth of weekly episodes due to her prior commitments with the Philippine Red Cross, including last month’s controversial 2020 Miss Universe Colombia pageant where the technical team had a mishap displaying her name on screen.
