He said he could only propose names as it was the prerogative of the Perak Ruler Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah to give the final assent to the list. On Thursday, after his swearing-in as the mentri besar at Istana Iskandariah in Kuala Kangsar, the initial five exco members were sworn in as well. 1:00 PM MYT IPOH: The Mentri Besar can only propose the names of Perak state executive councillors, as it is the prerogative of Perak Ruler Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah to assent to the exco list, says Datuk Saarani Mohamad ( pic).
