Charity and food bank, Raven House Trust - which is based in Newport - set out in February to collect enough eggs to deliver to local people in need. The trust needed 500 eggs to go alongside the food parcels it delivers, plus hoped to deliver 2,000 eggs to care homes within the area. They ve collected at least 3,500 eggs - 1,000 more than the original target.
