An apparent car crash led to the death of a 49-year-old man in Hermiston.
Fairfield's annual Veterans Day Parade will be held today beginning at 2 pm. Festivities will begin at 1 pm with a flag raising at Freedom Park. Elizabeth Gonzalez will sing the National Anthem, followed by a concert by the Roasted Chestnuts. Parade lineup starts at 1 pm at North First Street. Semi trailers will be available for veterans to ride on. Following the parade there will be meal for parade participants at the Fairfield Elks Club.
