South Africa, 8 October 2020  – Over a hundred thousand locally produced COVID-19 masks are helping to save lives in a high need area in the Western Cape, thanks to an innovative partnership between the U.S. government, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the British High Commission in Pretoria to support local production of COVID-19 supplies in South Africa.
