The shortfall of qualified nursing assistants in Minnesota continues to raise concerns at nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and home care agencies.
Those interested in becoming a nursing assistant can take the 6-week course for free at Minnesota State College Southeast locations in both Winona and Red Wing starting October 24. Classes will take place both online and on campus.

The six-week classes at the Winona and Red Wing campuses are free under the state of Minnesota's Next Generation Nursing Assistant Training Program.
