Newton Woman Indicted For Striking Family With Car
By Harold Mann A Newton woman has been indicted on three counts of intoxication assault and three counts of accident causing injury or death. 21-year old Kenlie Davis is accused of striking a couple and their child as the three were walking on Oak Trace Drive in Beaumont this past July. All three sustained extensive injuries. Davis fled on foot and was later found hiding in the backyard of a nearby residence.
