WORCESTER — From Lake Ellie to the Seven Seas, it's been "a heck of a ride" for Brian Skerry, an award-winning photojournalist specializing in marine wildlife and underwater environments. Skerry was born in Milford, grew up in Uxbridge, graduated from Worcester State University in 1984, and since 1998 he has been a contract photographer for National Geographic Magazine covering a wide range of subjects and stories to great acclaim.
