The plane, but the t.s.a. official says there s no explanation as to why specifically. we don t know a lot. per american airlines, there are no hostages as incorrectly reported locally. security threat was phoned to local police, not to the airplane. transportation security removed it to the tarmac and passenger are being deplaned. it s my understanding passenger and means will be rescreened. it s sounding like abundance is caution is it and maybe the reporting got a little away. yeah, we never went there because i think that reporting was wrong from the get go. look at the scene, the busses are going to the scene, which means they re in the process of taking the passenger off the plane. they re probably taking the badge baggage and rescreen and bring them back to the gate. ....
Up and you say you didn t even think about that. that would be a little formidable to think about that. you know. i just was trying to be part of the team and do exactly what the captain needed. you were scheduled to be off work that day. do you believe in some way this was a little bit of fate that you were able to intervene the wayรง you did? i hope so. i hope so. i like to think of it that way. what about the reaction that you ve been getting from your fellow crew members, folks at home and even the people on that plane. were they patting you on the back saying, patti, thank goodness you were here. no, the passengers didn t really know anything about this until the paramedics met the plane for the first officer. so, i stayed in the cockpit until everyone had deplaned. i thought that would be better. because of what you did, a lot of people landed safely ....
Deplaned and stayed in great britain. working to confirm that right now. the plane now enroute to dulles. we also know another leg of this trip has been added to miami. now, again, it is not clear if that s connected to whether any of these russian gentlemen might be getting off here and/or in miami or not. whoever is left on that plane may be getting off here and staying in the washington area. not clear which if any of those russian gentlemen, those russian agents are getting off here at dulles airport but the arrival is imminent, wolf. all right. we ll stay in close touch, brian, within the next half hour or so as you report that plane should be landing at dulles airport outside of washington, d.c. we ll check back with brian. a lot more on the spy story coming up later in the situation room as well. we re taking a closer look at what happens to the children of those ten russian agents who were expelled from the united stat states. now to a striking gap in america s homeland s ....
