The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in numerous residents having their identities stolen by individuals who use them to falsely claim unemployment benefits. In turn, this causes the victim’s identity to be flagged by the KDOL. The Sheriff’s Office is now working with the KDOL to restore the identity of victims. ...
