The UK Government, through its UK-Nigeria Tech Hub, has launched a Green Tech Programme, which will support 30 Nigerian female green-tech entrepreneurs with 12 weeks coaching sessions with industry experts. The upsurge in the frequency of robberies in Lagos traffic logjams has become a source of worry to residents and motorists.

  The Lagos State Police Command has arrested 11 suspected cultists and traffic robbers at Railway Crossing in the Ikeja area of the state. The suspects, according to the police spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, were apprehended on May 1 for attacking and dispossessing innocent people of their belongings within the area.
