Iowa City's Old Capitol Chorus looks forward to rehearsing in person
Just over one year ago, the singers of Old Capitol Chorus gathered for the last time to make harmony ring in the rehearsal space. COVID became reality, and we all know how 2020 turned out. In late summer 2020, we gathered outside a few times, masked and distanced. We gave that a try and, if nothing else, it was comforting to see the eyes of friends. Our director, Chad Knipfer, always ready to lead us. We continued to meet by Zoom, as did our board. We did manage to make a virtual recording for the Christmas holiday, and a few made virtual quartet recordings of love songs and sent them as Vale...
