Obituaries: Daniel H. French, 83; James David Lark, 90 Daniel H. French, 83 Daniel H. French, an attorney and school teacher, died on his 83rd birthday, surrounded by family. Mr. French attended the University of Michigan, and then Western Michigan University where he earned his undergraduate degree. In between stints in college, he sailed with the Merchant Marine on the Great Lakes and around the world.
