Last week, the donor offered to match donations over a week’s time, up to $50,000. On Tuesday night, that $50,000 donation was transferred into a GoFundMe account set up for the family. That brings the total so far to more than $340,000 out of their $500,000 goal. Since KHOU 11 first shared the story of Ollie Rasberry, the community has donated more than $285,000. The family needs to raise $500,000 by March in order to afford their 3-month-old’s life-saving treatment. ....

It s a rare brain disease that s also fatal. Ollie s sister has it too. However, since Ollie is so young and still asymptomatic, he has a chance! I first saw this family s story on channel 11..
