The Attorneys- General of the 36 states have filed an objection to the local government funds suit instituted by the Federal Government at the Supreme Court.

A law firm, Kayode Ajulo (SAN) & Co. Castle Of  Law, has dissociated itself from the petition purportedly filed before the Ondo State Commissioner of Police about harassment and assault of concerned Nigerians seeking justice for the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.     The law firm in a disclaimer signed by its Senior Associate, Hamza N. Dantani, Esq. and Associate, Eniola Oyelami, Esq. on Monday demanded urgent and thorough investigation into the purported petition.    

      The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Ondo State Wale Akinterinwa has reportedly been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).   His detention is said to be connected to his tenure as finance commissioner in the administration of the late Rotimi Akeredolu, the immediate former governor of the state. Akinterinwa was among the 16 aspirants who challenged one another for the Ondo governorship ticket of the APC over the weekend.

The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo State, Dr. Olukayode Ajulo (SAN), has confirmed that operations targeting fraud and financial crimes are currently taking place in the state.   This confirmation comes following reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had declared Mr. Wale Akinterinwa, a former commissioner and aspirant in the 2024 governorship election for the All Progressives Congress, as a wanted individual.
