WV House passes mobile cancer screenings expansion bill | Legislative Session
On Wednesday, the West Virginia House of Delegates approved House Bill 4433 which proposes to exempt mobile facilities performing mammography or low-density computerized tomography from the regulatory certificate of need process. The bill is aimed at enhancing access to breast and lung scans to increase early detection of cancer in rural communities.
