MRT-3 'Libreng Sakay' ridership reaches 18-M in first 2 months
MRT-3 (PNA photo) MANILA - The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) has given more than 18 million free rides during the first two months of its "Libreng Sakay" (free ride) program since the end of March. A total of 18,069,523 ridership was recorded from March 28 to May 31, the MRT-3 said Wednesday. During the first month of the program, it recorded a ridership of 8,472,637, compared to 9,596,886 in its second month.
