Amid the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic and cancellation of the NILE Foundation 2020 scholarship fundraiser, the NILE Foundation has continued plans to award over $30,000 in scholarships this year to agriculture students in a multi-state area that includes Wyoming. NILE – which stands for Northern International Livestock Exposition – is based in Montana. Six levels of scholarships will be awarded this year, and the deadline for applications is March 2. To qualify for a scholarship, an applicant must be actively involved in their community, a leader in their respective program, must have excelled in the classroom and have participated in NILE events. Scholarships will be awarded and announced in April.
