LAREDO, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents conducting a train check yielded finding several people inside as they tried to further their illegal journey into the United States near Hebbronville, Texas.
While conducting train inspections on an eastbound train near town during the late evening of March 5, agents assigned to the Hebbronville Station apprehended 16 individuals who were hiding inside a storage container.
Agents discovered that the seal from the storage container’s door had been broken so the individuals could gain access and conceal themselves. The individuals used a plastic strap to hold the door closed from the inside. ....

A person died following a two-car collision in Castlecliff early yesterday. Police were alerted to the crash in Cross St just after 2am. Inquiries into the cause of the crash are ongoing, police said. No information was available on whether anyone else was injured. ....

A long-time councillor says inexperience, personality clashes and infrastructure costs are at the root of ongoing council infighting around the country, while a local government academic believes New Zealand s sector is unfit for purpose.

JAKARTA, March 5 (Reuters): Indonesia plans to inject one million people per day with the coronavirus vaccine and 40 million people by June as part of a mass vaccination drive targetting 181.5 million people, President Joko Jokowi Widodo has announced.
