National Ramadan Open Mosque Day goes virtual
SILVER SPRING, Md. The 3
rd Annual “Open Mosque” Ramadan initiative returns in 2021 with Interfaith Iftar events being hosted in over 30 cities across the country during the first weekend of May. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA is making its annual initiative virtual to ensure Muslims and their neighbors can continue to come together in friendship, prayer and support.
At a time of rising tensions and increased injustices spreading across our country, including a rise in anti-Asian hate crimes, these Interfaith Virtual Iftars seek to heal the nation through the power of prayer and open dialogue. ....
