(The Center Square) – King County Executive Dow Constantine has announced $109 million in levy funds will be sent to 52 projects intended to accelerate conservation efforts.
The city decided to renovate the 60-year-old park after it showed “signs of aging.”
The park was renovated and several new amenities were added.
It’s one of several new initiatives for the society as it repositions itself as a vital community partner in the 21st century.
The park is expected to reopen in June 2023.
