A273: 62-year-old motorcyclist dead after car crash
A MOTORCYCLIST in his sixties has died after colliding with a car on a busy road. The 62-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene this morning after a crash with a dark blue Vauxhall Zafira. He was travelling northbound on the A273 Brighton Road on a blue Suzuki motorcycle at the time of the incident. The crash took place at the junction with Pound Gate at about 8.42am The driver of the car – a 31-year-old local man – was uninjured.
